Objectives of the Course | |||||
The aim of this course is to teach students the basic concepts and principles of linguistics, to introduce the basic features of human language and the components of language, to teach what the concept of linguistics is and how and why linguistics is studied and how linguistic analysis is carried out. In this context, within the scope of this course, it is aimed to introduce students to the features of the scientific method of linguistics and the micro and macro dimensions of linguistics, and to explain microlinguistic dimensions such as phonology, morphology and syntax in detail. |

The content of the course consists of the basic features of human language, basic concepts related to language and linguistics, the sounds of the language, and the introduction of the sub-dimensions of linguistics such as phonology, syntax and morphology. | ||
