Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to draw attention to the relationship of Linguistics with other disciplines and to provide information about the functions of language and the subfields of Linguistics.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 can explain the relationship of linguistics with other disciplines and make comparisons between these relationships. PO-1 They acquire knowledge and skills about English grammar, English culture, English literature, the structure and education of the English language.
PO-2 They gain the ability to write, read and speak in English.
PO-3 They use and apply the knowledge they have acquired in their field of education and research.
Examination
LO-2 can explain syntax and analysis areas from the basic levels of the language. PO-1 They acquire knowledge and skills about English grammar, English culture, English literature, the structure and education of the English language.
PO-2 They gain the ability to write, read and speak in English.

The basic fields and concepts of linguistics will be examined within the framework of the distinction between large-scale and small-scale linguistics.
