Course Contents |
In this course, twentieth-century and contemporary English poetry and prose are examined and interpreted within the framework of historical and cultural events, beginning with English Modernist poetry. Twentieth-century and contemporary English poetry are analyzed in their historical, cultural, and literary contexts. The course explores movements, themes, and developments in modern and postmodern English poetry in terms of form, content, and the philosophical ideas of the period. |
