Objectives of the Course | |||||
The aim of this course is to enable the student to acquire the knowledge, skills and competencies to examine various literary genres such as English lullabies, children's songs, folk tales, fairy tales, colonial adventure stories and fantasy literature within their historical development and within the framework of cultural, social, political and literary contexts. |

In the course, major works selected from various periods representing different literary genres such as lullabies, children's songs, folk tales, fairy tales, colonial adventure stories and fantasy literature are evaluated in the light of critical views on these works. | ||
