Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to examine the introduction of the Turks to Islam and the social, cultural, political and economic changes in this process.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Gains comprehensive knowledge about important events, personalities and periods of Turkish Islamic history. PO-6 History and arts of Islam uses the knowledge at the level of expertise acquired in the field to raise the level of education, culture and art of the society.
Examination
LO-2 Gains the ability to analyze historical events and processes and evaluate their connections with the present. PO-2 History and arts of Islam understands the interdisciplinary interaction related to the field and conducts joint studies with different disciplines.
PO-10 Examines and develops social relations and the norms that guide these relations from a critical perspective and takes action to change them when necessary.
Examination
LO-3 Analyzes the events that occurred in the history of Turkish Islam. PO-5 History and arts of Islam interpret, analyze and create new information by integrating the knowledge acquired in the field with information from different disciplinary fields.
PO-8 History and arts of Islam develops new approaches to solve complex and unpredictable problems encountered in applications related to the field.
