Objectives of the Course
It aims to enable the student to understand what the parameters that reveal the secularization process are, how secularization affects, how the relations between secularization and modernization progress, what the secularization of the religious institution is and what the new religious movements and approaches that emerge in this process are, and whether the social impact of religion is decreasing.

Course Contents
The course, what is secularization and desecularization? It consists of the topics of social, cultural and religious reflections of secularization, secularization of the religious institution, religion in the traditional, modern and postmodern periods, religious views on the axis of secularization.
