Objectives of the Course
The aim is to ensure that students are informed about the sociology of religion theories around which the sociology of religion has gained an institutional character and religious sociological expansions take place in this axis, and thus they can have a solid conceptual framework about the sociology of religion.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Can explain the theories around which the sociology of religion has gained an institutional character. PO-1 Develop and deepen their knowledge in the same or a different field at the level of expertise based on undergraduate level qualifications in the field.
PO-4 Uses research methods and techniques applied in the field, has theoretical and practical knowledge.
PO-7 Develop new approaches to solve complex and unpredictable problems encountered in applications related to the field.
PO-13 Collects, interprets, applies and announces the data related to the field, controls and explains these values by considering scientific, cultural, artistic, social and ethical values
Examination
LO-2 can provide information about religious sociological expansions that take place on the axis of sociology of religion theories. PO-4 Uses research methods and techniques applied in the field, has theoretical and practical knowledge.
PO-5 Interpret, analyse and create new information by integrating the information obtained in the field with information from different disciplines.
PO-7 Develop new approaches to solve complex and unpredictable problems encountered in applications related to the field.
PO-8 Lead in solving problems related to the field; organise personal, institutional and team work at the level of expertise.

Functional sociology of religion, dialectical sociology of religion and systematic sociology of religion, which include the positivist and evolutionist theories of religion that have emerged in the field of sociology of religion and their leading representatives, constitute the subjects of the course..
