Objectives of the Course | |||||
The aim of the course is to deal with the theoretical discussions on postmodernism and religion starting from the period of modernism in detail and in this context, to examine in depth the social appearances, effects and transformations of religion in the postmodern process. |

Course Contents | ||
The topics to be discussed include modernism, structuralism, poststructuralism and postmodernism and the views of Foucault, Harvey, Lyotard, Jameson and Baudrillar on these issues. In the light of these views, the common outcomes of the new social characteristics emerging with the postmodern period with religion are discussed. | ||
