Objectives of the Course | |||||
The aim of this course is to provide students with in-depth knowledge and skills in intercultural religious and moral education. It is aimed that students will gain competence in effective religious and moral education in different cultural contexts. In addition, students will be guided in developing cultural awareness and sensitivity, dealing with cultural conflicts and making sense of various cultural values. This course aims to enhance students' intercultural communication skills and to enable them to understand the role of religious and moral education in a globalising world. |

LO-1 | Students will understand the importance of religious and moral education in different cultural contexts and gain competence to teach in a way that is sensitive to cultural diversity. |

PO-8 Lead in solving problems related to the field; organise personal, institutional and team work at the level of expertise. |

The course ‘Intercultural Religious and Moral Education’ covers the theoretical and practical foundations of religious and moral education in different cultural contexts. The course addresses intercultural communication skills, pedagogical approaches, teaching methods and material development. It also includes topics such as the history of religious and moral education, cultural diversity, ethics and values, technological tools and teaching religion and morality in the process of globalisation. | ||
