Objectives of the Course | |||||
The aim of this course is to introduce students to the different aesthetic aspects of Anatolian folk dances, teach them sample dances, and ensure they can use them in their future activities. |

This course covers the definition of folklore, explanation of Turkish folk dances according to subjects and types, step teaching of folk dances from Artvin, Diyarbakir, Eskisehir, Trabzon, and Mugla regions, and the definition of local costumes and accompanying instruments. Additionally, the course includes the historical and cultural context of these dances. | ||
