Objectives of the Course | |||||
To teach students the basic principles and practices of the coaching profession, to emphasize the importance of ethics in coaching and to encourage ethical behavior in coaching practices. To develop skills in recognizing, evaluating and solving ethical problems that coaches may encounter. |

LO-1 | Understanding basic coaching principles, practices and coaching philosophy. |
PO-1 They have knowledge of concepts and principles related to Sports Sciences, Coaching, Conditioning, and Performance Analysis in Sports. PO-2 They have knowledge of the service delivery processes and procedures in the fields of Coaching, Conditioning, and Performance Analysis in Sports. PO-4 They have the knowledge to monitor, interpret, evaluate, analyze, and apply publications and current studies conducted on different age groups. |

PO-20 They acquire the ability to work effectively, efficiently, and ethically with other professionals and disciplines they interact with. PO-29 They adopt an ethical and legal framework for the collection, recording, and reporting of necessary data in the evaluation and development of the training program. This course includes topics such as the concept and basic principles of coaching, the design, execution and adaptation of training programs, sports psychology and communication skills, coaching ethics, ethical problems that coaches may encounter and solution strategies, leadership in sports and team dynamics. | ||
