Objectives of the Course | |||||
The aim of this course is to convey the basic terms related to management and organization, to illustrate the roles and responsibilities of coaches within sports management, and to explain the structure of sports organizations in Turkey. It includes an examination of the areas of the sports sector, sponsorship, coach ethics, employment, and the legal foundations and regulations that facilitate sports activities (such as regulations). Students will gain comprehensive knowledge about sports clubs, club managers, and other personnel and equipment, as well as learn about employment resources, and maintain healthy relationships between coaches, athletes, and the parents of athletes. |

Course Contents | ||
The "Sports Management and Organization" course aims to provide students with fundamental concepts of sports management while delving into the roles and responsibilities of coaches. It will cover the sports structure and organizations in Turkey, alongside various sectors within sports, sponsorship, and coach ethics. Additionally, students will gain comprehensive knowledge about sports clubs and managers, equipping them with the necessary information to foster healthy relationships among coaches, athletes, and their parents. | ||
