Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to teach the concepts of measurement, the working principles of measuring instruments used in measuring electrical quantities, the types and methods of connecting to the circuit, the analysis of errors, the expansion of the measuring areas of measuring instruments and the selection of the appropriate measuring instrument according to the electrical quantity. In addition, to provide knowledge and skills in the introduction of electrical measuring systems and the examination of their areas of use.

Course Contents
Basic definitions and measurement errors. Distribution and combination of errors. Measuring instruments, structure, properties and operating principles of measuring instruments. Measurement of power factor and frequency. Measurement of magnetic quantities. Measurement of frequency and phase with Lissajous curves. Analog-digital measuring systems A/D and D/A converters. Correction of errors in analog-digital systems. Principles of analog-digital linearization.
