Course Contents | ||
Students will be informed about the working principles, areas of use and the role of RFID technologies in industrial applications, and how these technologies are integrated will be detailed. Throughout the course, basic components in RFID systems, especially RFID tags and their various types (active, passive, chipless and sensor RFID tags), design methods, usage methods and special design techniques will be discussed. Chipless RFID tag designs using multiple resonators will be examined and a detailed analysis will be made on resonator types. In addition to wide-band monopole antennas and their integration in chipless RFID tags, resonator-antenna integration and simulations will also be emphasized. In addition, measurement methods of chipless RFID tags and RFID system design and simulations will be taught and students will be taught how to apply these technologies. | ||
