Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to enable students to examine group dynamics and team functioning processes in both individual and team sports, and to gain the knowledge, attitudes, and skills necessary for effective team membership. In this context, the course aims to promote an understanding of key processes such as team characteristics, motivation, group cohesion, and group roles.

Course Contents
This course includes the definition of group and team concepts; stages of group formation; group structure and norms; types of teams and their functioning within organizations; the roles and responsibilities of team members and the acquisition of skills necessary for effective team membership; intra-team communication processes; the importance of collaboration and coordination; strategies to enhance motivation, cohesion, and commitment within teams; conflict management and the acquisition of creative problem-solving techniques; leadership skills in teams, leadership theories, and the process of evaluating team performance.
