Course Contents |
This course includes the definition, importance, and applicability of motivation in sport; intrinsic and extrinsic motivational factors; the historical evolution of the concept of leadership, different leadership styles, and the role of leadership in the sports environment; methods to enhance athletes’ motivation; strategies for goal setting and developing self-efficacy; team communication processes, group cohesion, and the influence of the leader on the team; coping strategies for stress and anxiety in athletes and the leader’s role in these processes; and the principles of ethical leadership and the promotion of ethical behavior in sports contexts. |
