Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to enable students to identify and compare the components that shape sports policies; to analyze the implementation levels of these policies and develop solutions to problems encountered in practice; and to critically evaluate the current sports policies implemented in Turkey.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Be able to recognize and compare the elements that constitute sports policies. PO-10 Can use digital sports technologies and data analytics to assess and improve athletes' performance.
PO-13 Acquires theoretical knowledge in sports management and organization and can apply it in the sports industry.

LO-2 By determining the level of implementation of sports policies, solutions can be developed for problems that arise in practice. PO-9 Understands international sports policies and management strategies and can conduct studies in this field.

Course Contents
This course includes a chronological analysis of sports policies pursued throughout the Republican era; sports-related approaches and policies found in development plans, national sports councils, government programs, and political party agendas; the identification and comparison of the components that shape sports policies; the evaluation of the implementation levels of these policies and the development of solutions to problems encountered in practice; and the critical examination of the current sports policies implemented in Turkey.
