Information Of Programmes

HACI BEKTAŞ VELİ RESEARCH AND APPLICATION INSTITUTE / ALEVİ-BEKTASHI CULTURE

History

In 2018-2019 academic year, Nevşehir University Hacı Bektaş Veli Research and Application Institute established Alevi Bektashi Culture Department and started accepting both Master's and Scientific Preparation students. The language of education is Turkish.


Qualification Awarded

Students who successfully complete the program are awarded a Master's Degree (Science Specialist) diploma in Alevi Bektashi Culture.

Specific Admission Requirements

In the fields specified for the master's program, students are accepted as primary and substitute in the amount of the candidates whose rank is calculated by calculating the undergraduate diploma (graduation grade), ALES and foreign language score. Documents required for registration; 1 - Undergraduate Diploma, 2 - ALES Result Document. 3 - Original of the Identity Card 4 - Foreign Language Document (ÜDS, KPDS etc.) 5 - Military Status Document. 6 - Resume


Specific Arrangement For Recognition of Prior Learning

Students of Hacı Bektaş Veli University can be exempted from some of the courses in accordance with the relevant regulations. Students can be exempted from compulsory courses by passing the exemption exams in the beginning of the term.


Qualification Requirements and Regulations

To achieve a minimum CGPA of 4.00 out of 4.00 in order to successfully complete all the courses (90-120 ECTS in total) available in the program. Students who have taken at least 120 ECTS courses and successfully completed all of the courses in the graduate programs of the department or other related departments, obtain a grade point average of at least 70 out of 100, and successfully advocate a thesis in a related field before a selected jury. In the field of literature (Science Specialist) Master's diploma is awarded.


Profile of The Programme

Our program consists of academicians who are experts in their fields and the necessary studies are carried out together with the courses. The aim is to educate the student as individuals who have all the powers and responsibilities provided by law as a graduate graduate who has the knowledge and skills to analyze, synthesize and evaluate, produce a unique work using scientific research methods, and transfer what they know. At the same time, it is to educate our students as talented and equipped Alevi Bektashi experts at national and international level.

Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading

Students are subjected to at least 1 midterm and final exam for each course. The contribution to mid-term exams is 40%, the contribution of the final exam is 60%. All exams are evaluated over 100 points. Students who get one of the letter grades (AA), (BA), (BB), (CB) and (CC) from a course are considered successful in that course.


Graduation Requirements

In order to successfully complete the program (a total of 120 ECTS courses must be successful and successful.) It is necessary to obtain a minimum grade point average of 70 (CC) over 100, and complete the graduation thesis successfully.

Facilities

Educational activities in our department include 2 Professors, 2 Associate Professors, five Dr. Lecturer. It is carried out by a member and a Research Assistant. Lessons are held in the classrooms with all electronic (computer, projection and internet) equipment.
