PO-1 Coğrafya lisans bilgilerini uzmanlık düzeyine geliştirmek ve derinleştirmek.
PO-2 Bilimsel araştırma yoluyla coğrafi bilgiye ulaşabilmek, yorumlamak ve uygulayabilmek.
PO-3 Bilimsel yöntemlerle sınırlı ya da eksik coğrafi bilgiyi geliştirebilmek ve kullanabilmek.
PO-4 Coğrafyayla ilgili bir problemi araştırarak mekâna uygun çözümler geliştirebilmek.
PO-5 Coğrafyayla ilgili güncel gelişmeleri takip edebilmek ve bu bağlamda en az bir yabancı dilde sözlü ve yazılı iletişim yeteneğine sahip olmak.
PO-6 Araştırma yoluyla elde ettiği coğrafi bilgiyi yorumlamak ve etik değerleri gözeterek yazılı, sözlü ve görsel olarak başkalarına aktarabilmek.
PO-7 Coğrafyayla ilgili konularda yeni politika ve uygulama planları geliştirebilmek.
PO-8 Coğrafyayla ilgili yeterli bilgisayar yazılım ve donanım bilgisine sahip olmak ve bunları etkin bir biçimde kullanabilmek.
