Students have to take midterm exams in order to complete their 21-credit courses in the first year. The continuation of the student is followed by the lecturer. The date and schedule of the midterm exams are announced within the first month of the semester. In addition to the midterm exam, a final exam is given for each course. The date and place of the final exams are also announced in the section. When calculating the success grade, it is calculated by taking 40% of the midterm exam grade and 60% of the final exam. Some faculty members also consider some other criteria (eg attendance, seminar presentation, written homework, etc.) while calculating the exam success grade. Students who successfully complete the courses in the first year continue their thesis studies in the following years. |
Graduation requirements are as described in the "Qualification Requirements and Rules" section. |
