The vast majority of graduates with a bachelor degree in psychology work in public hospitals and private hospitals. Especially clinical psychologists have started to be employed in line with the advances in neuropsychology in hospitals, clinical diagnosis and treatment centres recently. They also work as educators, faculty members and/or researchers at the universities. The need for competent psychology graduates in these institutions in our country and around the world continues to increase. Psychologists may also be needed for the evaluation and regulation of training programs. In addition, they can work in nursery and daycare centres, other institutions that provide preschool education. They also carry out activities such as directing the elderly in nursing homes and other centres to the specified targets and evaluate the programs applied to adolescents and young people in foster homes and nursing homes. In addition, psychologists work in various public duties such as courthouses, social services, military institutions and police station. They contribute to psychological evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation in these institutions. In addition, many psychologists work in the industry, public relations and human resources for planning, quality management, increasing work and workplace productivity, employee safety, employee selection, rewarding and raising/laying off employees. |
Candidates who complete their undergraduate education can study in graduate programs provided that they get valid grades from the ALES (Academic Staff and Graduate Education Entrance Exam) and have sufficient knowledge of English. |
