AVANOS VOCATIONAL SCHOOL OF FINE ARTS / ARCHITECTURAL RESTORATION

History

Avanos, Nevsehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University Vocational School No. 6 dated March 3, 2009 was established by a decision of the senate. Avanos, Nevsehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University Vocational School of Architecture and Urban Planning Department of Architectural Restoration Program 2012-2013 academic year has started pre-graduate education in the normal formal education. Education language is Turkish.


Qualification Awarded

The program is available (for a total of 120 ECTS) have successfully completed all courses and at least 2.0 GPA on a 4.00 scale from undergraduate students who are awarded in the field of architectural restoration.

Specific Admission Requirements

It is essential to take the "TYT" score that will be considered sufficient for placement in the Yükseköğretim Kurumları Sınavı (YGS).


Specific Arrangement For Recognition of Prior Learning

Exemption exams are held for "Foreign Language" and "Basic Information Technology Use" courses at the beginning of the academic year. Students who are successful in these exams do not take these courses. In addition, students who want to be successful from the courses they have taken and succeeded in the Architectural Restoration Program in their previous or ongoing education are deemed to have been successful and exempted those courses if the ECTS and the content of those courses are evaluated by the Department Head.


Qualification Requirements and Regulations

Students to obtain associate degree program in the field of architectural restoration of required and elective courses (a total of 120 ETCS) and successfully complete all of the 4.0 cumulative grade point average must obtain a CGPA of at least 2.0.


Profile of The Programme

Architectural Restoration, both clerical and administrative issues in terms of restoration, and construction sites, laboratories and workshops of restoration needed "for architectural restoration," to do the necessary protection and repair work, which is aware of conservation, environmentally sensitive, responsible, able to follow the developments of modern, enterprising, aims to educate technical staff equipped with the practical and theoretical skills.

Occupational Profiles of Graduates with Examples

Architectural Restoration Program graduates employment areas in our country is quite large. Graduates of our program "Restoration Technician" working in the fields of restoration with the title of the public (Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Central Laboratory of Restoration and Conservation, Surveying and Monuments Directorate, General Directorate of Foundations, Protection Application Control Offices - KUDEB, ...) and private institutions, laboratories, construction sites and offices, museums and palaces belonging to the Department of National Palaces and private museums, archaeological teams of architects and the technical staff are employed as construction sites.

Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading

Each student at the beginning of the period and final exam, I register for classes at least 70% of the courses, applications must be continued for at least 80%. Students for each course at least one midterm and final exam are subjected to. Success grade, midterm exam (as the midterm grade homework, lab exam, measuring tools, such as quizzes, etc. can be obtained from the evaluation scores) contributed 40%, 60% is the contribution of the semester examination. All exams are evaluated over 100 points. Final exam are required to obtain at least 45 points. A student (AA), (BA), (BB), (CB) and (CC) has received a letter grade, students are considered successful from that course. (DC) and (DD) notes that successful conditional notes. DC or DD grade in a course where the student to be successful you must be at least 2.0 GPA. A student (FD) or (FF) grades are considered one of the students who failed the course.


Graduation Requirements

Program to successfully complete all the courses available (120 ETCS) to pass, achieved a CGPA of 4.0 to 2.0 and at least 30 days must complete the required internship program.
